Mensah Raphael  BFAA28005 Group 3 I’m you Dickhead directed Lucas testro  The narrative introduces us to Richard, a man burdened by regret, awkwardly waiting in a clinic alongside Larry, a more cautious individual who previously used time travel to bid farewell to his dying mother. Richard, consumed by the fantasy of a more fulfilling life, naively believes that convincing his 10-year-old self to learn guitar will pave the way to fame, fortune, and happiness. Dr. Beckett, the scientist overseeing the time-travel program, issues stern warnings about the dangers of encountering one's past self—a phenomenon that can lead to multiple self-versions, internal conflict, and identity confusion. Yet, Richard, fueled by his desperate longing, dismisses her advice. He signs the necessary documents, receives the time-travel serum, and, with a newly acquired mustache, embarks on his misguided journey to the past. Conventional (2015) – A Film Analysis By: Amenyo Cambridge Worlanyo Kwami NAME: AMENYO CAMBRIDGE WORLANYO KWAMI INDEX NUMBER: BFAMPP28010 REVIEW ON: CONVENTIONAL GROUP:3( THREE) Conventional (2015) – A Film Analysis Essay Questions to Consider for Film Analysis Essay Karen Gillan’s Conventional is a sharp, unnerving short film that blends satire and psychological drama to expose the emptiness behind celebrity culture, particularly for aging women in genre cinema. Set within the hyperreal space of a horror movie convention, the film prompts a set of layered questions that deepen our engagement with its narrative and characters. One of the central questions is: What does it mean to be relevant in a world that thrives on novelty? The film’s protagonist, a fading horror actress (played by Gillan herself), is stuck in the loop of repetitive fan interactions. Her forced smile and robotic greetings, “Hi, how are you? Thank you,” echo like a broken record, suggesting both the monotony of c...

The Centrifuge Brain Project

Did the story engage you from the beginning? Yes, it started like a serious documentary, which made it interesting and made you want to know more. 3. Summary of the story (no spoilers): A scientist talks about building extreme amusement park rides to improve human brain power. But the rides are unrealistic and impossible. 4. Central message: The film shows how science can be used to trick people if we don’t think carefully. It also makes fun of how some people blindly trust anything that sounds “scientific.” 5. Any twists? Yes, the twist is that everything sounds serious, but it’s all fake and made up to entertain. CHARACTERS AND PERFORMANCES 1. Were the characters believable? Yes, especially the main scientist. He sounded calm and real, like a true expert. 2. Did they deliver strong performanc...

Produced by Bloody Cuts and brought to life by director Anthony Melton, this 13-minute supernatural thriller captures a terrifying experience where movement spells death. Rather than relying on overused jumpscares or loud noise cues, the film thrives on tension built through silence and visual restraint. STORY AND THEME  From the very beginning, Don’t Move drops viewers into a nightmarish scene: six friends have inadvertently called forth a demon during a casual game night. The catch? Don’t move

Mensah Raphael  BFAA28005 Group 3   Don’t move directed Anthony Melton This cinematic piece, "Don't Move," truly rattled me. It plunged straight into terror, gripping me from the opening moments and sustaining an intense unease throughout. My immediate captivation stemmed from an overwhelming desire to witness the unfolding dread. The narrative centers on a group of companions who, through a clandestine ritual, unwittingly unleash a malevolent entity. This demonic presence slays anyone who exhibits movement, compelling them to maintain absolute stillness amidst their escalating terror. The film masterfully illustrates how fright can induce mass hysteria and how a singular misstep can lead to fatal consequences. My interpretation of its core message is that certain forces should remain undisturbed, and that fear itself can exacerbate perilous situations. Several unforeseen plot twists caught me off guard. The demise of certain individuals occurred in entirely unexpected ma...

A FILM REVIEW Don’t Move.

July 13,2025 Posted by :Chelsea Naa Astwei Adjetey- BFAMPP28020. Group 3 FILM REVIEW: Don’t Move by Bloody Cuts Films    When I watched Don’t Move, I felt very scared and tense. The movie didn’t waste time—it started with fear and kept me on edge. From the beginning, I was hooked because I wanted to see what would happen next. The story is about some friends who do a dark ritual and bring out a demon. The demon kills anyone who moves. So they all have to stay completely still, even when they’re scared. The film shows how fear can make people panic, and how one wrong move can cost your life. The message I got is that some things shouldn’t be messed with, and fear can make things worse. There were a few twists I didn’t expect. Some people died in ways I didn’t see coming, and the ending surprised me too. Even though the film was short, the characters felt real. They looked and sounded like people who were really scared. I think the actors did a great job. One woman tried ...

A GROUP FILM ANALYSIS REVIEW ON NORTH ATLANTIC

Image
July 13,2025 EffiakumaIVS25  A FILM REVIEW BY Effiakumaivs25 Group 3 FILM TITLE: North Atlantic DIRECTED BY:Bernardo Nascimento. The story is about a lonely air traffic controller in the Azores and a pilot flying across the Atlantic who loses all communication except for this one radio link. They speak briefly, and we can feel the human need for connection in the silence between them. The main message of the film is about isolation and the power of human connection, even when people are far apart. The ending was surprising because we expected more conversation, but instead, we were left with silence—which made it even more powerful. There are only two characters in the film, and they never meet in person. But even through their voices, we felt their loneliness and emotions. The actors did a great job with such little dialogue. The pilot’s voice sounded tired but hopeful, and the controller seemed nervous but caring. Even though their conversation was short, it felt meaningful...

Film Analysis: “Don’t Move” A Study in Stillness and Terror

Image
“Don’t Move”   Movie Analysis Done by: Amenyo Cambridge Worlanyo Kwami (BFAMPP28010).   The short horror film “Don’t Move” delivers a gripping and terrifying experience in just a few minutes. Centered around a group of friends who accidentally summon a demon during a séance-like game, the film wastes no time plunging its audience into tension. The central premise is chilling in its simplicity: the demon is blind, but it kills anything that moves. This sets up a suspenseful, claustrophobic scenario where silence and stillness become the only means of survival. The narrative doesn’t rely on heavy exposition or complicated backstories. Instead, it sharpens its focus on the terrifying moment at hand, creating a story that explores fear in its most instinctive form—the fear of being hunted and the paralysis that comes with it. Though the characters are not deeply developed, their reactions speak volumes. The protagonist and other survivors must remain absolutely motion...
