In the Katy universe film, Katy is the protagonist the lady who was making the phone call
She was invited as a wedding guest and suddenly believes she has telekinetic superpower and this is the scene there she started trying his magical powers.
Her belief is less about actual superhuman abilities and more about a desperate need to assert control in a universe that feels vast, random, and terrifying
Katy’s specific goal was that she wanted to understand and master these supposed powers. However, her deeper objective is to confront the crushing anxiety of insignificance that comes from contemplating the enormity of the universe. This goal drives her erratic behavior as she desperately seeks validation, connection, and meaning. In this fim the antagonist is not a traditional villain but a system a universe with rigid, deterministic principles that try to control and define her. This universe operates on the belief that each version of Katy must stay within her predefined role. The antagonist here is the principle of existential limitation the idea that who you are is already decided.
Katy is willing to struggle emotionally, physically, and mentally to break through these imposed realities. She defies the system that replicates and restricts her and Her willingness was to endure pain, confusion, and alienation underscores the depth of her commitment to self-discovery.
At the high point of the film, Katy is thrust into a situation where she must either win or lose everything not just her physical life, but her identity, autonomy, and sense of self. Atthe end Katy does come to a deeper understanding of the universe but more importantly, she understands herself in relation to it. But i think The Katy Universe thus becomes not just an action film, but a philosophical inquiry into what it means to be free, to struggle, and to choose in a world determined to do the choosing for you.
