A review on Katy universe 


      THE KATY UNIVERSE follows a woman who experiences a surreal, cosmic journey, exploring themes of perplexity , reality, and the nature of existence. In the movie,the film centers around katy experience at a wedding where she believes she develops superpowers, leading to an existential crisis, and potentially a drug-fueled bender. The entire story is largely seen through her perspective and her monologue, as she grapples with the meaning of her life and her place in the universe, which is the protagonist. Katy objective seems to be seeking understanding and validation for her perceived superpowers and existential crisis. She calls her ex-boyfriend, presumably looking for someone who can make sense of what she's experiencing, or at least acknowledge the profoundness of her situation. She's grappling with immense feelings of insignificance and the meaninglessness of her existence, and she wants to process this overwhelming realization. Katy goal is to find meaning and comfort in her own insignificance and the vastness of the universe." Her wild ride, whether drug-fueled or genuinely powered, is a journey towards coming to terms with these big, terrifying questions in a way that ultimately offers a sense of peace or acceptance.

     The  antagonist isn't a character with a specific objective or set principles in the way a human villain might be. Instead, the primary antagonist is Katy's own existential dread and her perception of the overwhelming, meaningless nature of the universe. This vastness and Katy's sudden, profound realization of her own tiny place within it is the core "principle" that challenges her. The "panic attack" she experiences is a direct confrontation with this cosmic reality.And also Her perceived superpowers, whether real or imagined due to drugs, introduce an element of chaos and unpredictability. This challenges her existing understanding of reality and her ability to control her own life, which is a fundamental principle most people operate under. Katy struggle is the very core of the film's conflict and humor. Her primary struggle is internal. She's grappling with the overwhelming realization of her own insignificance and the meaninglessness of existence. This isn't a passive acceptance; it's a profound, disorienting battle within her own mind. The entire film is essentially her extended monologue, which is a continuous, verbal struggle to articulate, process, and make sense of her chaotic thoughts and experiences. She's actively trying to explain, even to herself, what's happening and what it means.

    Katy's ultimate "win" in "The Katy Universe" is the successful integration of her profound realization of cosmic insignificance into her worldview, transforming terrifying existential dread into a comforting and sustainable understanding of life. This involves finding humor, acceptance, and a new perspective that allows her to move forward without being paralyzed, essentially discovering meaning even within perceived meaninglessness. Katy's "lose it all" scenario involves succumbing completely to existential panic and dread, resulting in a potential mental breakdown, inability to function, and the loss of her sense of self, engagement with the world, and sanity, as she fails to cope with the terrifying implications of her epiphany. The central conflict in "The Katy Universe" stems from the clash between Katy's conventional, human-centric worldview, which presumes individual meaning and control, and the universe's principles of vastness, indifference, randomness, and lack of inherent meaning. The film's resolution isn't about altering the universe's nature, but rather Katy's internal shift in perspective. She reconciles these opposing principles by finding humor in the absurd discrepancy and reinterpreting cosmic insignificance as a source of comfort, allowing her to thrive by discovering personal meaning within cosmic meaninglessness.

 A FILM REVIEW OF THE LAZY SUSAN BY :EFFIAKUMA GROUP 3 Watching Lazy Susan was both funny and some time mixed of emotions as well. The story engaged us in the beginning as it gradually unfolding as it process. Susan's life appears mundane,but as the narrative deepens it reveals her loneliness of her. The central message of the flim seems to be about the importance of human connection and understanding Susan feelings. The story follows Susan, a woman who seems to go through life without being noticed. People ignore her presence and treat her like she doesn't matter. Susan felt like a real person-funny but also lazy and careless. The actor did a great job playing her character that stood out was Susan's family member who was always honest with her and especially with the way she talked and moved.
